Summary:The article discloses current state of Greek economy with a reference to its level of competitiveness, investment climate, and influence of the international organization and separate countries on Greek policy of tackling the crisis. It is displayed that dashing fall of country's development indicators (as well as in some other countries of the EU) is conditioned by low efficiency of controlling mechanisms within the EU. This paper also determines the interconnection between all countries of the European Union, countries of Asian and Pacific region and China, which might suffer due to the problems of regional disparity in the EU.
