| Summary: | The present work consists in presenting the socioeconomic transformations caused by the merger between Perdigão and Sadia in 2009 in the city of Videira-SC / SC, as a brief history of the historical and social formation of the region of Santa Catarina, to understand the process of emergence Of the local agroindustry, Perdigão S / A. In order to do so, it was necessary a bibliographical survey and research on economic and social data of Vine to verify the changes occurred during the years after the merger. In this sense, the research sought to investigate the consequences of the merger for the Vitorian population by working with socioeconomic data that will reveal local transformations. |
