| Summary: | The paper focuses on the history of establishment and development of tourism standardizing and certifying in the Russian Federation. The source base of the paper includes the contemporary National Standards and other legal documents regulating tourism activity. The changes that took have taken place in this sphere since the 1990s are described and analyzed, the trends and perspectives of standardizing and certifying the tourism business are marked. In addition, the author convincingly proves the significance of studying the National Standards and mechanisms of touristic services quality validation, using voluntary certifying for the Bachelor’s Degree students majoring in Tourism. |
