description The purpose  of the paper is to present the relation between Hiedegger’s meditation about technique and the subject of care (Sorge). Besides a brief introduction to the manner technique was conceived in the twentieth century, this paper is composed by two other phases: the first one, where Heidegger’s criticism of the essence of technique is reconstituted; the second one, in wich will be presented Heidegger’s reflection about establishing a free relation to technique, given not through a will’s act, but thought’s act, expressed in the notion of care (Sorge), while a fundamental dimension of our way of being in the world, in wich, starting of the sphere of a philosophical thought, we penetrate into the domains of a unusual comprehension of the education act, according to wich care (Sorge) reveals himself in to protect and to guard the indigence and fragility of human’s temporary existence. To the author, in protecting and caring, a free domain is forged in relation to the unconditional validity of technique. So, comprehend technique and his proper mode of validity is the condition to apprehend what is implicated in technology, and to make possible a more adequate way to think philosophical, pedagogical and human senses inherent to the notions of protection, guard and care, all this possible meanings of Sorge.
