Description
Summary:Dreams of memory in the prose by Boris Khazanov Developing the traditions of existential prose of the first wave of emigration from Russia, B. Khazanov focuses on artistic reasoning for internal states of a human, the ways of understanding his own self and the sense of living in the context of history. The history itself is taken into consideration by him within the paradigm of postmodern worldview, which, counterbalancing final truth and senses, provides for their free convertation and reflective processuality of its grounds and culture. The memory of a protagonist in the narrative in diversity of works by B. Khazanov taken as a monolith moves on the verge of dreams and reality circling back around the same events and shows them in similar and different variants and variations, expository and luminous. The picture of experiencing the past and the states related along with archetypic and fantastic images brought back to life, their introduction into the real life are accompanied by a steady analysis of a possibility to remember the “own” and “strange/acquired”; at the same time the concern for truth is realized in the discourses oriented at formation of senses.
