The second section presents the results of corpus analysis of SMS correspondence and determines the main types of linguistic and paralinguistic markers of conversational implicatures typical for this kind of discourse.
The aim of this paper is to point out the specifics of SMS discourse when it comes to resources and mechanisms of encoding, signaling and successful decoding of conversational implicatures. |
