description | This paper summarizes the research progress nationally and internationally in the dynamics of mesoscale vortices in recent years, including the vorticity equation, heat equation, energy equation and mesoscale vertical motion equation of mesoscale convective vortex, pointing out that environmental wind shear, vertical motion, advective dynamical convergence, variation of wind field and thermal field, along with topography all have effects on the development of mesoscale vortices. Moreover, the study of mesoscale vortex dynamics is related to the derivation and diagnosis of energy equation and vertical motion equation, as the variety of vertical motion is concerned with the instability energy and horizontal wind velocity in middle troposphere level. |
