Description
Summary:The water control comprises an essential element aiming sustainable management of environmental resources. It is necessary, however, to consider sceneries and rational goals. In order to reach this objective the water control policy requests a harmonized articulation of criteria that possess certain subjectivity content. In the present paper the decision making process for the selection of a water control policy can be supported by AHP method (Analytic Hierarchic Process). The AHP satisfies the requirements of the public administration, since it allows quantitative operations based on qualitative variables. The viability of the method was demonstrated in didactic approach, taking into consideration relevant multicriteria in order to invigorate quanti-qualitative water control policies. The AHP made possible the selection of a particular Policy Model based technical basis.
