Summary:This article analyzes he social fights in Bolivia in 2008 when the country entered a civil war provoked by the movement of separation of the provinces of the East, threatening president Evo Morales’s government. The interventions of the linked entities to the dominant social classes of the provinces of the East and the role of the USA as an articulator of that process not just threatened the sovereignty of Bolivia but of the several Latin countries that at that moment applied government’s policies that opposed the new liberalism.
