description Introduction-Sleep and epilepsy are closely linked. Some late-onset adult epilepsies can be triggered by sleep deprivation in connection with many sleep disorders, and among them obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) which causes hypoxemia and sleep fragmentation that can be the cause of epileptic seizures and complicate their treatment. Observation-We report the cases of two patients who presented late epileptic seizures of unknown etiology. Faced with clinical features leading to OSA, ventilatory polygraphy-type sleep recordings were performed and demonstrated moderate OSA in the first patient and severe OSA associated with obesity / hypoventilation syndrome (SOH) in the second patient.
