| Summary: | Corporate governance is a concept whose implementation improves market position, attract domestic and foreign investors, capital markets and develops economies. Base of improving corporate governance is to define and implement the principles of corporate governance. Current situation in this area in the Republic Srpska is not good. This text aims to point out: the importance of corporate governance, poor current state of corporate governance in the Republic of Srpska, identify problems and offer some recommendations to improve the state. Work is structured as follows. In the first part of the text are the basic theoretical concepts of corporate governance. The second part explains the standards of corporate governance, the current state of corporate governance in the Republic of Srpska is analyzed and recommendations for improvement are offered. |
