| description | That the foreign trade enjoys an important place in the industrialization policies shows the need to develop fiberboard industry and give important to this sector. For this reason, it has become very important to examine changes to occur in the production and foreign trade structure of fiberboard industry in Turkey over time. And hence in this study, models are established and projections are developed for production, import and export of Turkish fiberboard industry by econometric method. As a result of regression analysis performed, it is seen that fiberboard production of 2 million m3 in 2006 shall increase 1.5 times in the year 2021, reaching to 3.4 million m3, and the fiberboard export around 200 thousands m3 in 2004-2006 shall reach to 330 thousands m3 and import of 500 thousands m3 to 900 m3 thousands in 2021. |
