description Pro- and antioxidant blood system in patients with oncological brain process, as well as the establishment of the neurosurgical treatment influence on it was the aim of the study. Study results testify the lipid peroxidation process considerable inhibition in the blood of patients with intracerebral tumors. We also observed the enzymes of antioxidant protection activity strong inhibition. The disturbance of free-radical peroxidation processes was observed at different stages of neurosurgical treatment. The considerable pro- and antioxidant factors disturbance in blood was established. The traditional treatment with drugs, as well as neurosurgical treatment do not promote the normalization of these factors.
