description The metal vessels of similar type (fragments of the bowls) originated from the territory of the North Caucasus and the Bolghar settlement are analyzed. Common features of their production technology, processing and ornamentation are considered. The traits that unite them are casting, polishing, and engraved and circular ornament. Assumption concerning a possible location of these vessels production is made. A conclusion is made regarding craft ties that had existed in the Middle Ages between the Bolghar settlement and the North Caucasus region.
