Summary: | In this article A. S. Pushkin’s views on education problems are considered. Rejecting practically all educational institutes of the time, A. S. Pushkin demanded to forbid home education as «the most immoral». However, in his works the whole gallery of the literary heroes who have spent the childhood among «holops» is presented (Tatyana Larina, Masha Dubrovskaya, Pyotr Grinyov etc.), that allows to analyze paradoxes of home education in Pushkin’s works. In this regard the author of the article raises the question of the importance of Mitrofanushka image for understanding the image of Pushkin’s «minor» of the same period — Petrusha Grinyov – in the historical novel «The Captain’s Daughter». The precedentiality of Mitrofanushka image strengthened by the author allows A. S. Pushkin not only to emphasize typicalness of life of the minor of the 18th century, but also to point out the divergences in education which leads to formation of the personality that can watch his «honor while young», despite all «revolutions and returns» in Russian social life and in all circumstances of senseless and merciless Russian rebellion. On the other hand, Pyotr Grinyov’s mature standpoint on Petrusha’s «infantile years» allows him to appeal to sources of education again and to analyze all nuances of «home education» of people of honor. |
