| Summary: | The article is about the actual problem of IT industry identification and conditions of its competitiveness in Ukraine. In terms of new geopolitical changes in Ukraine, it is necessary to find new ways of increasing the competitiveness of separate sectors and the whole economy. Nowadays one of the characteristic features of the world economy is the unprecedented increase of competition. The modern economic growth is closely connected with such characteristics as competitiveness, innovation, productivity The article analyzes the ongoing situation in the Ukrainian IT industry, the problems of quality training IT specialists, aspects of the interaction of higher IT education and IT industry in Ukraine. The current position of the Ukrainian economy makes us to think about the productivity of IT business, as well as the efficient usage of its resources.
