In women, sensitivity of elevated apo B levels was lower than that of hypercholesterolemia (HCH); nevertheless, specificity of both parameters was similar. In men, HCH was more sensitive and specific than increased apo B levels. Conclusion. Substantial differences in sensitivity and specificity of increased apo B levels were observed in women and men with possible CHD, as well as in various groups of men. |
