description The author focuses on the problems of formation of the system of values of the younger generation in post-Soviet Russia. Political and economic competition between countries in the former Soviet Union at the level of mass consciousness of Soviet and national values qualitatively affected the social, political, cultural attitudes of young people who have the extremely unstable, contradictory character. The created vacuum of valuable orientations and world outlook installations of youth is filled with asocial ideals and an abstractness from real socio-political processes.
