| Summary: | As important as it may seem’ categorizing title sequences based on their technique and relation to their respective movies is not paid enough attention yet. There had been times that titles performed in an illustrative manner had been confused with animation style sequences which is scientifically unacceptable. The present study tries to dem-onstrate the specific methods in which a title sequence is produced by study nearly 40 numbers of title sequences well known in the history of cinema. This study also tries to point out the proficiency required in each method and to specify the role of writer, director, editor and graphic designer in order to clarify readers’ perspective and deepen their understanding of this form of graphic arts. |
