description | The growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) has brought about the need for effi-cient energy management in buildings. This challenge has led to the development of various energy management systems that utilize different approaches. In this article, a fuzzy logic-based approach is proposed for energy management in IoT-enabled buildings. The system utilizes data from various sensors and devices to determine the optimal energy consumption levels for different areas of the build-ing. Fuzzy logic is used to analyze the data and make decisions about energy us-age, taking into account various factors such as occupancy levels, weather condi-tions, and user preferences. Simulation studies have shown that the fuzzy logic-based system can significantly reduce energy consumption while maintaining us-er comfort levels. The system can be implemented in various contexts, such as commercial, residential, or industrial buildings. The proposed system has the po-tential to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs, contributing to a more sus-tainable and environmentally-friendly future. Overall, the fuzzy logic-based ener-gy management system is a promising solution to the challenges of energy man-agement in IoT-enabled buildings. |
