The Cathedral of Kyiv, in 1640 covered a wide range of vital issues of the Orthodox life of the Metropole: explanation of the main principles of the Orthodox faith and acceptance of «Catechism», problems of the pastoral, liturgical and administrative nature, regulation of monastic life and ascetic feat, care for the spiritual and moral condition of the flock, and others. |
