description Fifteen patients of radial nerve injury were managed by funicular apposition in six, neurolysis in three, grafting in one, tendon transfers in two and conservatively on three occasions. Functional recovery following procedures on the nerve was observed anywhere between 4-8 months after surgery. External splinting with light short cock up splint was as good as internal splinting and did not entail any prolonged loss of work. In the two patients where tendon transfers were done recovery was faster.
