households. The study also used Landsat 5 and 8 satellite images to analyze the development of vegetation cover in the province,
so the results analyzed in SIG. This study shows that the built-up area has increased from 47.32 km2 in 1984 to 81.34 km2 in
2021, damaging the fertile Mitidja plain. Inadequate housing persists despite the rise in residential construction, and insecure
dwellings are proliferating due to migration. |
