Summary:This article is fitted in the frame of a project of doctoral research that is realized in Traslasierra's Valley, in the province of Cordoba (Argentina). In this research we started by considering that, as reaction opposite to the application of agrarian policies of neoliberal court so much state level as to regional level there arise social movements of rural base, appearing the above mentioned processes of social mobilization as part of a major studding that includes processes of similar characteristics in the whole Latin America. For the boarding of this subject matter it turns out necessary to realize an analysis of diverse theoretical frames across which the social sciences approach the problematics of the processes of social mobilization. The aim will be to realize a first state of the question that it inspects some of these theories, marking similarities and differences in the manners in which the diverse authors approach the subject matter of the social mobilization.
