THE BACKGROUND OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE INSTITUTION OF EXEMPTION OF CRIMINAL LIABILITY AND PUNISHMENT IN RUSSIA

The article gives the characteristics of three periods of the development of such institution within the Russian criminal law as exemption of criminal liability and punishment. The author investigates the Russian lawful acts of the X to XX cc.
