STUDY OF VOLTAMMETRIC DETERMINATION OF PHENOLS AT THE LEVEL OF MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE CONCENTRATION

In this paper we study the voltammetric determination of phenol. The effect of the electrochemical methods used to modify the surface of glassy carbon electrode (GCE) at its electroanalytical properties is shown. Terms of electrochemical modification (the concentration of the manufacturing electroly...

description In this paper we study the voltammetric determination of phenol. The effect of the electrochemical methods used to modify the surface of glassy carbon electrode (GCE) at its electroanalytical properties is shown. Terms of electrochemical modification (the concentration of the manufacturing electrolyte and the duration of the treatment) affect the character of the dependence I = f(c) and sensitivity of the VA-determination of phenol. The influence of conditions on the registration on the analytical signal of phenol is shown. The linear potential sweep affects the appearance of VA-curves (the number and size of the peaks). The conditions for defining phenol at maximum permissible concentration (MPC) by voltammetry were identified.
