Description
Summary:Testicular torsion (TT) is a urological emergency, which requires a time-sensitive approach to diagnosis and management. TT predominantly presents with severe, sudden onset, unilateral testicular pain in men under the age of 21. It is a clinical diagnosis with assistance from a scrotal ultrasound or confirmation via scrotal exploration. Here we present an interesting case of a 67-year-old man with TT. This case demonstrates that medical professionals should have a high degree of clinical suspicion for men of all ages with unilateral scrotal pain.
