description This work presents an analysis of selection the optimal truck model for transport of ash, gypsum and slag from the Thermal Power Plant Pljevlja to the Maljevac landfill. The capacity of trucks for transport of byproducts was calculated applying the Talpak program package for different types of trucks, taking into account different engagement times. The analysis was done for three types of trucks: Kamaz 53605-A5 (4x2), Mercedes-Benz Actros 4141 and Volvo FMX 520 10X4, for operation in one, two and three shifts. The results of analysis were used to select the optimal type of truck.
