description This paper is focused on the simulation of line array source that consists of eight separate loudspeaker enclosures of the same type having some directional characteristics influenced by the position within the line array. The influence on these characteristics caused by the different positions of enclosures in the array was tested. The characteristics of the line array source were measured in the anechoic chamber. The comparison between the results of the simulation of ideal and real sources is shown.
