| Summary: | This paper intends, in light of the legal frameworks that regulate Social Assistance – such as the Federal Constitution of (1988); the Organic Law of Social Assistance (LOAS/1993); the National Social Assistance Policy (PNAS/2004) and the Single Social Assistance System (SUAS/2005) –, to learn how to establish the new management dynamics of SUAS in terms of reality, in order to understand the determinants that guide the process of realization of the right to a special social protection policy. It is, therefore, a critical reflection of the Assistance, whose central point is the apprehension of its implementation in the municipality of Campos dos Goytacazes. Qualitative research based on the critical-dialectical framework was defined as methodology, in which the bibliographical research and the use of semi-structured interviews were used as fundamental tools in the construction of the screen research. |
