Description
Summary:The purpose of this current research was to examine studies discussing Indonesian students’ kinesthetic intelligence in physical education. This study was conducted through library research. For analyzing the data, a content analysis was used. Researchers used Campbell, Campbell Dickinson’s (1996) concept of multiple intelligence, more precisely kinesthetic intelligence. The study's findings reveal that the Indonesian teachers still utilized traditional methods and strategies in teaching physical education subjects to improve students’ kinesthetic intelligence. Moreover, the objectives of this subject were to equip students with the competencies to be physically active for a lifetime. The implication of the studies mainly discussed the importance of uplifting the quality of physical education teachers to facilitate students’ kinesthetic intelligence development better. The present study also informs the possibility for future researchers to elaborate on the findings.
