description The paper presents two mobile robot solutions on crawler belts and wheels equipped with a robotic arm. The robot on tracks can be controlled from distance, being able to move in environments unknown or dangerous to humans. It is controlled by computer applications installed on a smartphone device with Android operating system. This paper proposes a specific approach to allow a human user to interact in a natural way with the mobile robot in performing ordinary tasks that require handling of small objects and moving them on an uneven terrain. A solution is provided for the interaction between the human operator and the mobile robot being very important for achieving a simple, flexible and in the same time efficient interference.
