CHARACTERISTICS OF HYPOPHARYNGEAL GLANDS IN HONEYBEES (Apis mellifera carnica) FROM A NURSE COLONY

The development and size of hypopharyngeal glands (HPGs) in workers sampled from the nurse colony was compared to workers from the control queen-right honeybee colony.
