| Summary: | This work aimed to analyze the spatial and temporal variability of the Trophic State Index (TSI) in 7 (seven) sampling points and in different sub-basins of the Verruga River, located between the cities of Vitória da Conquista and Itambé, in the southwest region of Bahia, during the period of 10 months of monitoring, on a monthly time scale. The determination of total phosphorus concentration in water was performed according to the recommendations of APHA (2005). Based on the results obtained, it is concluded that the waters of the Verruga River present hyper-neutrophic state. |
