| description | This study aims to contribute the two different scales used in evaluation of servant leadership among medical staff on Turkish literature. In this context, validity and reliability analysis of Dennis and Winston (2003) and Dennis and Bocernea (2006) Servant Leadership Scales are done. Dennis and Winston Scale includes 23 questions and 3 dimensions, and Dennis and Bocernea scale includes 29 questions and 7 dimensions. The survey is conducted with 180 staff in practising in three different hospitals of Konya province. The datas obtained from the survey are analysed with descriptive statistics and confirmatory factor analysis using SPSS 16.0 and Lisrel 8 programmes. As a result, Dennis and Bocernea scale is reduced to 5 dimensions and 14 questions, and Dennis and Winston scale to 3 dimensions and 14 questions. The new scale is found as valid and reliable. |
