This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of decoction water of young areca nut and Kandis acid on pain intensity and perineal wound healing in postpartum mothers. This study used a quasi-experiment with a pre-post test with a control group design approach with a sample of 22 postpartum mothers consisting of 11 people intervention group and 11 people control group which are selected by accidental sampling. The measuring instruments were using the NRS pain scale and the Southampton scale and the Bates-Jensen Wound Continuity Scoring.
