description Feliciano de Silva not only imitated La Celestina in his work Segunda comedia de Celestina, but he also continued it; for this reason he must revive the procuress, who had been murdered by Sempronio and Pármeno. This essay analyses how the writer did it and the literary consequences of her resurrection. The second aim of this study is twofold: firstly, to emphasize the role of Poncia, the intelligent Polandria's servant, and her love story with Sigeril, Felides' page; and lastly, to study two linguistics digressions –the conversation of two African slaves and a shepherd’s speech.
