| Summary: | China's 2020-2050 vision can be described as one coordinate. Urbanization, industrialization and culture of saving are important pillars of the vision, “Openness, Sharing and Inclusion” are its natural features, the region of Latin America and the Caribbean is an important partner for China to realize the vision. In 1971-2001, long-term, stable partnerships got formed between China and Brazil or some other Latin American countries. In 2002-2017, the partnership of equality and mutual benefit was consolidated. Since 2018, China and Latin America have been strengthening the “hand in hand” partnership, one of the common goals is crossing “middle income stage”. China-Latin America relations are undergoing a new period of strategic adjustment and mutual adaptation, both sides should strengthen exchanges and cooperation for seeking common ground in differences and moving forward hand in hand. |
