Description
Summary:Mexico’s Disasters Policy program is reviewed under the premise that is currently insufficient to effectively prevent the occurrence of disasters. Mexican disasters’ policy relies on a series of instruments that should intervene on different phases of a disaster (from risk stage to post-disaster), but so far it has focused on emergency response instead of strengthening the instruments and practices that could lead to an integral risk management policy.
