Description
Summary:This research was conducted with the aim of developing and normalizing a test for the assessment of the academic enjoyment of the primary education second cycle students in Tehran. For this purpose, using the open and closed interview methods with the members of the sample, the components, criteria and indicators of the academic enjoyment assessment were extracted from the target population. Then, the instrument items were developed based on the extracted indicators and they were distributed among 10 second cycle primary education teachers to examine the coefficient of agreement and it was obtained. The initial form of items was administered to 742 male and female students of the primary education fourth to sixth grades from five geographical-educational districts of Tehran that were selected using multi-stage cluster random sampling method. Then, through performing exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and computing the reliability in the sense of the internal consistency, the items whose alpha were low or their factor load was not significant were removed, the final form of the test was prepared and the necessary norms were developed.
