Summary: | One of the most significant aspects of social integration of children with special needs is the availability of additional education, which is often the only way to socialize these children. Based on our studies (focus group discussions and a questionnaire survey of 1078 parents of children with special needs) we analyzed the limitations of additional education availability for these children according to various criteria (organizational, financial, informational, etc.). Evaluation of the number of children covered by the additional education program leads to the conclusion that the older children are, the harder they get the educational service. The most deprived group are children with intellectual disabilities
