Optimization of enzyme medium for rifampicin resistant mutants of Streptomyces recifensis var. lyticus using mathematical planning of experiments

Ten components of the fermentative media have been optimized for the Streptomyces by a method of simplex. The level of activity of the lytic enzymes was increased in both the initial strain P-29 and the rifampycin-resistant mutants 4–9 times.
