The contribution explores such dynamics, enucleating and deepening three matters - knowledge, responsibility, service life - that, in their trend, have contributed and still contribute to redraw scientific, technical and operational frontiers of relationship between maintenance and transformation. Thereby the paper faces some of the crux that allow a critical observation of the development dynamics of the idea, and of its meaning, concerns what is still today decodable as plan for built environment. |
