Summary:We deal with a control problem for a coupled system of two degenerate singular parabolic equations in non-divergence form with degeneracy and singularity appearing at an interior point of the space domain. In particular, we consider the well-posedness of the problem and then we prove the null controllability property via an observability inequality for the adjoint system. The key ingredient is the derivation of a suitable Carleman-type estimate.
