Summary:This article intends to describe and discuss the internship experience with 3rd year high school students in a private school in a city located in the north of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The intervention, Professional Guidande (PG), aimed to provide moments in which teenagers reflect on their future aspirations and professional choices, helping to reduce anxieties arising from the doubts that the choices may cause. Forty-seven students aged 15 to 16 participated in the intervention. For that, 15 meetings were held in which projective techniques, psychometric tests, group dynamics, panel of professions, among others were used. Although with limitations, the activities could assist students in autonhecimento and the search for more informed choices.
