Summary:While the increase of globalism and technological dynamism are cited as key players in the decline of labor unions, they have the potential to be utilized in the opposite direction – that is, promoting labor union membership. The World Wide Web has become the platform for many burgeoning companies, including Pandora, a music streaming giant. Recently Pandora has been criticized for its questionable redistribution practices and is used here as a case study – under the norms of Catholic social teaching – to scrutinize its conformance to just labor practices.
