Description
Summary:Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2. Although it is primarily a respiratory illness, there is growing evidence that it also affects the digestive system and manifests itself through various symptoms such as loss of appetite, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. In this context, this case report features a 14-year-old female patient with congenital neutropenia who became infected with COVID-19, yet had no respiratory system involvement. Instead, the patient developed primarily gastrointestinal tract involvement and secondarily syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion.
