| Summary: | Individual destinies of the cities which left a noticeable mark in the history of countries and peoples are significantly different from each other. Over the years some of them were administrative centers, capitals, others were cultural centers, the thirds were zones of intensive economic development. The special type is represented by the cities which made it into history as the symbols of greatness, courage, military prowess. In the USSR and modern Russia these cities were granted the status of hero-cities, made it into the world history, gave an opportunity to millions of the citizens of our country to be proud of their Motherland, feel being a colossal nation, believe in their own strength / Индивидуальные судьбы городов, которые оставили заметный след в истории стран и народов, значительно отличаются друг от друга. Одни из них на протяжении многих лет являлись административными центрами, столицами государств, другие — центрами культуры, третьи — зонами интенсивного экономического развития. Отдельный тип представляют собой города, которые навсегда вошли в историю как символы величия, мужества, ратной доблести. В СССР и в современной России эти города получили статус городов-героев. Подвиги, совершенные в них, вошли в мировую историю, дали возможность миллионам граждан нашей страны гордиться своей Родиной, чувствовать себя великим народом, верить в свои силы |
