This study will cover the notions of Writing about oneself and gender in texts written by women who experienced/experience these aggressions. For the study, readings of Lejeune (2008) will be done as a basis for studies on Self-writing; Lerner (2019) and Kern (2021) who will base the discussion on violence against women, among other scholars who bring contributions on the researched topic. It is noticed that the woman suffers several forms of violence in the political universe, evidenced in the texts of memories of the present study.
