description | The budget is mainly an agreement between citizens and the government. Today government budgets, like other conventions, contain elements that require regulations. In this context, one of the most important factors affecting the course and performance of budget implementations is the trust of the citizen who has entrusted the budgetary power to the execution of the budget right. In recent years, the decline of the trust to the government and public institutions in many countries affects the legitimacy of the government and institutions and undermines the quality of public services. In this context the purpose of the study reveal the citizens of OECD member countries and Turkey whether they trust or not to the government and public institutions and this trust to what extent budget indicators. OECD data set was used in the comparisons made within the scope of the study. |
